Project Highlights:
- Surveying services for 71-
mile underground pipeline built by the MWA that brings water from the California Aqueduct in Hesperia to the Rock Springs Recharge site at the Mojave River in south Apple Valley and to percolation ponds in the Hi- Desert Water District (HDWD) in Yucca Valley - Initiated by the Mojave Water Agency in order to bring water from the California aqueduct to the Morongo Basin
- Water flowing through the pipeline is diverted to recharge ponds in an effort to reduce overdraft in the Warren Valley Basin
- Project affects two cities, three unincorporated towns, as well as Federal, State, County and private lands
- Project crosses and/or parallels State Highways 18 and 247 and required the recovery and survey of over 500 cadastral corners
- Prepared over 450 title report investigations, legal descriptions and sketches

- Horizontal and vertical controls along the project alignment for photogrammetric and cadastral purposes
- Geological evaluation sites were also controlled throughout the alignment
- Class I levels were run using the Wild NA 3,000 levels
- Sub-consultant coordination | Federal, State, & County coordination
